Will dearness allowance increase by 4% or 5%?

So far the central government has not made any such announcement that how much percentage will be increased in the dearness allowance of 1 July 2024. But it has become a topic of much discussion in the media report that dearness allowance of 4% or 5% can be made. Some media reports also reveal that 3% can also increase.

Will the 8th Finance Commission be formed in December?

The process of eighth pay should start in 2024, however, the Centre has not made any such announcement yet. Because the process of formation of the Seventh Pay Commission was started in 2014 itself. Which was implemented from 2016 i.e. the Pay Commission is formed every 10 years. Accordingly, the process of formation of the commission should start in 2024. After which it can be implemented by 2026.

However, no such opinion has come from the central government yet. From which it can be told whether the formation of the eighth commission can start in December 2024 or not. But it has become a topic of much discussion in the media report that the process of formation of the eighth pay commission can start by the end of this year i.e. December.
